Thought I’d cross post this album, The Flower School. Nice write-up by Free Jazz Blog’s Martin Schray. Martin nailed it, especially regarding the final piece on side 2 of this LP, Moon Showed but No You.

The Flower School

Returning to the Japanese East Wind release of The Great Jazz Trio Live at the Village Vanguard. The incomparable Hank Jones, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams on Moose the Moocj, Naima, Favors and 12+12. An exceptional album. My only regrets is I’d like to hear more than the 36:12 offered here. Maybe it is time for me to pick-up a copy of The Great Jazz Trio Live at the Village Vanguard Vol. 2.
