Another excellent digital-only Aerophonic offering, a live set recorded in 2011.
I’m consistently impressed by the excellent sound of the albums released by Aerophonic. Dave Zuchowski appears to be the engineer/recordist for many of the Chicago-area recording sessions.

Dave is the go to guy for live recordings in Chicago. He has a great ear, and takes the time to get the set-up right. My Wood Legs and Tripel/Dubbel wouldn’t download from BandCamp. Too many downloads, which I assume is a good sign as they must have sold well. Dave Rempis is addressing it. I had held off on these digital downloads, as it is a bit of a hassle to download and then upload to my ZENith Mk3. I have all the Aerophonic CDs and LPs as I typically pick them up at concert.
Dave’s Aerophonic records is a well run label, with excellent recording quality, record pressings and customer service. Can’t say that about a creative music label out of Texas, which is a shame as the artists on that label are ones I’d typcally purchase.
Bandcamp glitches out every now and again, I feel your pain.
I hate having to download files and then transfer them to my NAS to be catalogued, but I haven’t come up with a better workflow.
Astral Spirits lp quality sucks for sure.
Curious as to what you are using for a NAS, as I am reconsidering increasing my ZENith Mk3 capacity, currently 2 Tb, or just adding a NAS at the LAN input. Upgrading the ZENith is crazy expensive, and requires sending the unit to Portugal.
I have a Synology 6-bay NAS (ds-1618+) with Western Digital Red 4tb SATA drives. Fairly easy to set up. I use Synology SHR raid configuration for redundancy. Backup using Synology HyperBackup. For the most part the unit has been rock solid, it just runs and I keep dumping stuff on it. A fast home network is helpful.
One reason I have not done it to date as I have not set-up a home network. So there’s a bit more to it. Thanks.

I’ve heard Katinka Kleijn play on several International Contemporary Ensemble releases and the wonderful Ubique album from composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir.
A fine trio effort.
I’ve seen Katina many times live, she combines visual art with musical performance. At times to good effect, and yet at times a fail IMO. An accomplished cellist, but her visual arts ideas are not to my taste.
Agree, one of his best solo records.
Cuneiform sent out an email blast today saying that the cds of this release are almost gone..this set was mentioned in a recent Bandcamp article and that apparently generated a lot of interest. Dug out my copy to revisit. A collection of short Braxton pieces that have not been previously recorded/released. Very cool.
