You mean like the upcoming PS Audio AirLens streamer? That might be something worth waiting for. I’m sure it will have killer sound!
When is it due to be released?
It has been too long a wait, and I ended up with a Euphony Emmus 2 server/endpoint that has an i2s connector. When the Airlens comes out it can still pair with the Emmus, I hope.

They have to send a team out to do an audit of the company before they will authorize us to become Apple certified (don’t ask). So we wait. Once we get certified then we’ll be pretty much done with alpha. If the parts pandemic doesn’t bite us again, we might see beta units arriving in July.]

I have the Matrix arriving today and bought some DSD256 files from blue coast music.
It’s been a long time since I’ve bought DSD downloads. What is the recommended approach for playback? I have DSD master and bit perfect on my Mac.

You should be able to get it to work with Bit perfect but another poplar one is Fubar. foobar2000 for Mac

In Roon, are you all using the convert to DSD or DSD over PCM v1.0 option?
