MP40 was a significant upgrade from a Marantz AVR8802a. Roomperfect was the draw. It gets used for HT and TV in a 4.2.2 setup. 2 channel listening is through the BHK PreAmp.
Regrettably, it’s a very nice Eames Lounge Chair replica.

My wife overheard me complaining about about the condition of my listening chair after 4 years. COVID supply chain issues had set aside the possibility of a new chair for at most a year of wait time. I had left a tab with the manufacturer’s web site opened on my desktop and my wife the sleuth found it. She found the chair it and had it shipped to her office to hide it from me. This morning it was in the back of her SUV. A wonderful surprise!

Thanks, I was able to surprise my wife and children with certain special gifts. I overheard conversations and saved ideas for presents.So it was a mutual deception.
