Let’s say when I wake up from sleeping I’m excited to listen to the system. Music made it easier for me to get completely clean and sober now 16 years. You could say I’m happy.
Wow…Very nice!
Very shiney!
Bet they sound amazing
dreamy
Silly question: how many binding posts does the Apex have? From the pic I’m counting 2 speaker cables per channel…
Are you using bi-wiring combo banana+spade?
Looks like an old picture. I think that might be the Antileon EVO.
Yep, I do double runs to each speaker and hook them up as you say. That Antileon EVO amp just has two pairs of binding posts. It is the same on my current amp.
Inspired by @akro i constructed some foam board acoustic panels with the 3d panels from Amazon to cover my home theater screen. There are 3 panels 54”h x 40”w each. I love the look! Not sure if I’m sonically better but for music i love it! The panels mounted on my HT screen with door hangers and lift off with ease when it’s movie time! Thanks @akro for the idea! I just need to add some cool light to them.
Do you have a link to the materials used?
TIA
I wonder if putting the same material directly behind your speakers on the back wall would help or hurt. As your speakers are dipoles it might hurt.
I have the GIK Alpha 6 panels behind the main speakers and Alpha 4’s under the screen. They are combination diffusion and bass trap. When I installed them they made a huge difference.
3 Foam boards I sourced at hobby lobby $15.99 each I chose these for there light weight.
The 3D acoustic panels from Amazon 2 boxes.
The hanger hooks I had laying around.
And two tubes of liquid nail construction adhesive from Home Depot
Have to repeat it one more time, love your room indeed! Congrats, Paul!
Thanks Luca! It’s never sounded better!
great
for light, I use a cheapo hollow half moon aluminum fixture (there must be a term for this) with a light bulb with remote so that color and level can be easily set from chair (light assembly simply lies on floor, pointed more or less up)
my 2-sided tape fails from time to time, so added in a few places (lazy) a small stainless sheet metal screw in center of a few of the panels
