They were custom made by Merrill. I don’t think he is building anything lately however.
I only have diffusion panels on one side wall, and a cd/movie rack along the other side wall as diffusion also, plus an area rug.

It’s day #3 of playing with my new FR30’s. I stream Qobuz via Roon and also purchase DSD256 goodies. My Mac is the pointer and conductor and the Pink Faun Scion streams and also holds my downloaded purchases. My Mola Mola Tambaqui is the DAC which hands the audio to my preamp Aric Audio Motherlode XL which will be serving my Double Trouble Subs. BHK 600’s drives my FR30’s. I love what Shunyata distrubution 8 with Shunyata cables did to my musical flavor. Another love is for the Stillpoints Aperature II correction panels.
Thanks for the closer look. I am a full fledged believer that the elephant in the room, is the room, and not inferior equipment or combinations of same. It took me decades to get this anomaly mostly right, and it is still a work in progress. Apologies for reacting unfavorably to what seemed

I didn’t take your reaction to be “unfavorable”. I thought it was a good question based on what could be seen in the photo.
I have no treatments at all. But I guess I’m lucky with my room. As I get closer and closer to the speakers, I hear no substantial difference in the character of the sound.
And since my system is in my living room and my darling little flower petal dislikes room treatments, there are none. Ya give, ya get.
I could not use big panels, but I have some non-intrusive looking square panels at the lower portion of front and side walls. Two large CD racks right behind the speakers actually help a lot (by sticking out a couple inches every few CDs to make it a diffusion panel). 
Then, there are thick live plants on major sound-bouncing points. I have a thick carpet (well, a green putting matt) in front of speakers. My room is deep enough and tall enough so I can get away with great sound without adding more absorbing panels, not that I am allowed to add more anyway.

Acoustic Geometry panels and corner bass traps, GIK Gotham, crown molding, 3 ASC sub traps under the F12 PS Audio subs on Auva SW feet, PMG preamp, M400 amps, and phono preamp, Berkeley 3P DAC and Reference USB, Aurender NH10 and N30SA, VPI Classic turntable, Shunyata Research Everest X, Altaira X, Omega/Sigma X cables, Front Range Reserve cable for mid/high panels on FR30’s, IsoAcoustics OREA Indigo and Gaia Titan Theis speaker feet with Stack Auva100, and Arcici suspension stand.

Thanks! The room is 14.5 by 20 by 8.7 feet high, and it is within most recommended proportions to reduce major room modes.

They do not overpower the room at all.
Maybe they would if I had not added the rear low frequency membrane corner traps and 3 ASC sub traps to keep the room bass gain in check.
I like the rear tweeter with adjustments to deal with the depth that these are placed into the room and provide a bit more upper frequency air to change the soundstage space impression. I used curved diffusors on each wall which also help to give the impression of a larger space. Ceiling panels and a thin, but dense foam carpet pad on concrete also help keep things from bouncing all around.
The new M400’s have more than enough power and headroom. They can get very loud if someone wants it that way. I may document the volume with a SPL meter vs the PMG pre-amp number indicator sometime.
Just added a Minus K vibration platform under the TT and initial listening suggests this is a winner. Will report back more after significant listening. Already noticed I can literally jump up and down on the floor next to the rack and can’t hear a thing!
Most expensive “tweak” in my system but should probably consider this more of a key component. This specific platform is the 10CT10 rated for 11 pounds max which works beautifully with my Naia.
UPDATE (7/20/26): Well, after significant listening this past weekend I’m a believer in this “negative stiffness” technology. Sometimes the improvement is subtle and sometimes major. Some albums had that “I’ve never heard it sound this great” moments. In general, the bass and mid-bass is tighter (less bloat or exaggeration due to reduced structure born feedback) and there’s less reverb or “overhang” also likely due to much less feedback from speakers/sub to TT/cartridge.
In any case this is one upgrade I would never want to remove. All positives and no negatives (minor bit of extra fussing when cueing up LPs due to movement, but easily compensated by gently pressing down on the platform while doing this operation).
UPDATE (7/23/26): SAT (Swedish Audio Technology) use a customized Minus-K platform in this $380K beauty. If it’s good enough for them it’s good enough for me!

My main room which I stage all of my hobbies and repair things along with listening to audio music has reached it’s final stages of tweaking and I am really liking what I am hearing and extremely happy with it’s sound signature. The final components which made a huge difference to my ears was moving my subs to near field so I got 2 each 50’ rca cables. Got Stack sw5 @ 6ea. under each sub. My fr30’s just got its new Stack Auva 100’s which allowed me to do final fine speaker placement adjustments. With my speakers in place I needed to make some final adjustments to my Stillpoints Aperture 2 panels. The Linlai global 6sn7 tubes really made my insides smile when I listen to them. I had no idea how to get that dream sound stage and I am really happy with what I am hearing in my room now!

Current system, the resident RADA phono stage, being out for some minor upgrades, replaced by the reliable back up Channel Islands PEQ-1, which is killer for the price, thing just sounds good! Think I just talked myself in firing up the turntable…
