Worth it?

[tried to quote you, but it automatically deleted the quote.]

anyway, is a $35 guitar pick worth it?

Probably the way speaker wire is worth it. A few appreciate it. Many don’t care.

It’s expensive-to-make plastic, and it does produce a really nice rich tone. (I play mandolin, and i swear by them.)

They never wear out, so you make sure you’re not careless with it. In eight or nine years of using them, I’ve never lost one, knock on wood. Misplaced for a while, but usually because one went into the wash in my pants pocket.

Huh, well maybe one day when I’ve got some money burning a hole in my pocket I’ll have to try it out.

I have to wonder how much better or different a Bluechip would be vs the green Jazz III I’ve been using.

i was skeptical, too, but I love them.

Others have tried them and said, meh.

Matt will give you your money back if you don’t like it.

I may get flamed but there’s a reason many speakers are compared to “properly designed” electrostatic speakers. The technology offers the best form of transducer IMHO. The least number of drivers with the best transient response. And when coupled to a transmission line woofer cabinet it’s magic.

Oh man, are we gonna start talking about how much we’ve spent on guitar gear?.. Now THERE is some stories…

What is the component on top of DAC?

That’s my LMS or loudspeaker management system. It is part of Sanders system which includes active crossover, EQ and room correction. With bi-amping and active crossover you have more control and consistent results as compared to passive and fixed crossovers without any EQ adjustment. It’s actually a DBX Venue 360 product modified to look more like an audio component than a Pro audio rack mount component.

If you pay your money and it makes you smile then it is worth it no matter the cost.

Y’all must be thinking by now that I have a fetishism for floors, but I’ll say it again: LOVE THAT FLOOR…!
I’ll bet you, by the way, that if you remove that table the room will sound even better…

And where would I place my beer, G&T etc.? Enquiring minds want to know.
