Like The Abso!ute Sound videos with Tom Norton? Exhausting.
To me, he comes through as someone who is trying to transition from a hobbyist to a pro reviewer (as he assumes in the video). He invested a lot on a klippel system (he used to do measurements with mics in his garage) and it appears he is aiming at some objectivist/subjectivist middle ground. He seems honest about his intentions and findings, and candid on his words.
Yes, he suffers from some verbiage (but you can skip the videos and just read the findings/measurements on his website). Yes, he got way too scared about this litigation threat, and this worsened the verbose in the video. Yes, he has some ground to cover. But I believe would more agents in the reviewing business behave like him, we all would enjoy more balanced and less divisive discussions.
