Got an email noticed yesterday from ‘Puro-Later’ indicating that my PWT had been delivered. Hopefully the problem is benign. Shit happens. One of my neighbour, a young man starting a family, bought his very first brand new vehicle: a Dodge Ram 1500. Two days later, the transmission failed big time. Reason: missing seal. I wonder who was doing the QC on the vehicle.
Anyway…A big pet peeve of mine is when you pay big bucks for a specific courier/shipping service only to realize that they basically do whatever they want with your parcel. A bit like the Government…

Woo Hoo…! She delivered an hour ago. The PWT is back in the system and warming-up. I’ll do a a sound check in a few hours or tomorrow morning.

I stayed-up way past my bedtime last night listening to a variety of CDs and sipping a very nice single malt… All is good. Nice to be back in my cave.

No problem Paul and thanks for the email. You don't need to apologize for the problem. "Schitt" happens. I often wonder if premature failures aren't caused by mishandling during shipping as per the little videos I posted somewhere else. Like, how many G's can an electronic device withstand when tossed from a truck unto to pavement?
The outer box of the PWT had punctures and rips and the bottom soaked with water but the inner box integrity wasn't breached.
Next time, I'll take it to Boulder myself wrapped in a baby blanket. Make sure you notify your wife to set an extra plate for supper. :D
