I just picked up a mint condition BHK 250 from TMR and I’m having a hard time getting my jaw off the floor. I never realize how anemic, my old Audio Research VT-100 was at powering my B&W 803’s. What an amazing amp! The amp came with a pair of Tungsram PCC88’s from Upscale Audio and in my experience they experience a pretty quick tonal shift, as I’ve tried them in my preamp before. Any suggestions for an alternative?
