I am setting up a new Mac mini setup per Paul’s suggestions. Any reason why a Type A to B cable would sound any different than a Type C to B? Mac mini will go into my SGCD. I’m asking because the answer to this could impact whether I buy an older model or new Mac mini. Thanks!
Shouldn’t make a huge difference. My only concern is that A to B cables are a lot more common because audio companies have been using it for ages. It’ll be a lot easier to find quality A to B cables. Used as well. I just looked at Audioquest’s website and they do have C to B cables, so at least you know they’re out there.
