I feel like I’m treading over very well worn ground, but I’m having a problem updating my bridge firmware and haven’t found an answer in the forum. I upgraded to a Mark II and added a bridge a while back and the bridge firmware has been stuck at 2.14a. I have tried to update by downloading onto an SD card several times but the upgrades don’t show on the bridge home page. I’ve tried several different SD cards and downloaded the file several times (contacts on SD card are facing up). Tried using the file as named and renaming to update.ub to no avail. When I check the bridge version on the PWD screen (during initialization) it just says 2.14 (no letter). Attempts to update the firmware through the web page also failed because it couldn’t find the page I specified. Please help!
Hello! The instructions for updating the Bridge firmware (different from the PWD firmware) can be found at http://www.psaudio.com/learn/faq6/ Follow the step-by step procedure but don’t use the listed URL.
Instead, the correct URL for this procedure is this: http://updates.psaudio.com/bridge/upgrade-0.2.14b.ub
Also, before you actually do the upgrade, go to your web page and make sure you don’t already have 0.2.14b already. If you do, it’s the latest anyway, so there’s no point in reloading if you already have it. Unfortunately the front screen on the PWD doesn’t give the sub-version number (i.e., it doesn’t show the letter number after 0.2.14) so you have to go to your web page and check the status to make sure what you actually have.
Best of luck.

SSW, thanks for the quick reply, but I tried that already, didn’t work. Hence my asking the forum. Is it possible the web page is showing 2.14a when in fact it is 2.14b?
Hmm, when I copied the above link from the ‘download area’ there was an extra hashtag that didn’t appear on the screen that got copied. That may be screwing up the system. If you get to the firmware web upgrade page and can insert the link into the window, use the one I posted above and see if that works. After 10 to 20 minutes you should get the “successful” pop-up window to confirm the upgrade happened properly.
Keep us posted.

@pmotz
TRY GOING TO AN older VERSION AND then LOAD 2.14B
It worked! SSW, I’d swear the address you provided was identical to what I used, but yours worked, mine didn’t. Go figure. Thanks for your help!

Great! Go and enjoy!
Note to Gordon: We need to fix the URL on the official web page here, as when I copied it to post to Pmotz there was an extra message tacked onto the end of the link that doesn't appear on the screen. It may be screwing up others' firmware updates as well.

@streets still works
Do you mean the one here in the forum or on the PSA support site?
I just tried the one in the forum and it took me to the 2.14b download file.
Was this file not correct?
Do you mean the file is corrupted?

Gordon, the one I tried from the forum last night in response to pmotz didn't work and I found the extra hashtag characters behind it. But when I checked just now it seemed right.
So I guess we're good to go. I have no idea what happened.
It would be nice if we can update the one on the knowledge base.

Sorry, I ain't got the keys for that one.
Hopefully they all point to the same source?
