Updating DSD MK2 Functionality

Hey Paul,

Having tested the SG DAC, I was wondering if two features from it might be carried over to the DSD MK2 via a software upgrade?

First is the ability change the Display Mode so that the MK2 might highlight the sample rate instead of just highlighting the volume. Those of us with the MK2 hooked into a preamp might like this option as opposed to seeing the fixed “100” all the time.

The second is whether the MK2 software could be modified so that in IR Enable, one might switch between IR1 and IR2, allowing use of the Stellar Gold preamplifier remote on IR2 with the DSD MK2.

These are the two areas I found where the Stellar Gold DAC is an improvement on the MK2.

I like this idea! Another good option would be to display in the large font which input is currently playing on the DAC. Showing the volume isn’t helpful if one never changes it.

And maybe the option for larger volume control numbers for those of us that use it.
