Any big diffs in sound?
Returning to UPS and surge protection, I use them on all the computers in my house and office, my server and my electrostatics. They protect from surges and if the battery runs low they have a soft shut-down process. Got mine from Amazon, under $100 each. The rest of the audio is in a PSA regenerator.
Actually a huge immediate difference. I’m try to wrap my head around what I’m hearing.
Previously I had a triplite UPS feeding a Furman rackrider. Pulled all that out and replaced with the P15.
Listened for a number of hours yesterday. The music sounded smoother, and then something that I’m just not able to put words to. Perhaps a veil over everything. I suspect that what I’ve always heard has been a collection of artifacts of wrongness. Perhaps I’m wrong in that description. I’m thinking that maybe I’m actually hearing the music more accurate to what it was suppose to sound like
Although I didn’t have much listening fatigue with this system in the past, I also felt less after last night. I haven’t tried multi wave yet, might change things.
The scope shows I’ve had my peaks cut off, thinking that should have really limited the amps when I needed sudden power. The in/out difference shows that there were lots of holes in that signal.
