Vintage PS Audio 5.0 Preamp

Is it possible to get a service manual or a schematic for an old PS Audio 5.0 Preamp? I have been able to get PDF files of the Owners Manual and of an advertising pamphlet from when the preamp was first released but have not found any other documentation on the unit.

@jamesh ?

@kerryd2, welcome to the forum.

If James does not reply soon, you might try calling PSA or dropping a note to customer service.* Typically, those are more direct options to answers to questions.

Regards.

Hi Kerry, I just emailed over a zip folder with all of the docs we have for the 5.0. Let me know if you have any trouble opening the folder.

Thank you. I received those and was able to open the zip file.

I wish to receive the service manual for the PS Audio 5.0 . Please send to my registered email. Thanks

No problem, just emailed the zip!

Nice to see that smile here, Mr Whiz Kid.

My email is luka734@gmail.com

Thanks.

No problem, just emailed your way!

Now that you have an email from James, you might want to delete your email address from public viewing.

I am pretty sure Delia can give you a hand.

Hello Jamesh. Could you also send me the manual for the PS Audio 5.0 preamp? I recently purchased the preamp. It sounds great. Fritz

Hi James, Can you send me a copy of the Manual/Schematic for the 5.0? Thank you!

Paul

Hey James, can I too have the users manual, service manual and/or schematics for the PS Audio 5.0 Preamp whenever you have a second? Thanks!

Apparently, the 5.0 is the best of vintage PS audio? saw one on ebay, not sure, If I go for it, the last 4.6 has a hum only when I hook digital to it, but I miss so much his sound, expecialy the MC for my TT

anyway, just order a 300B from aliexpress, to have that warm sound back! until my decware phono arrived!

Been wondering about 5.0 support, but today is a different issue an one that I hope won’t get banned by the admins.

Now I have a 5.0 (s/n 452) that I bought new in the 80’s and it has an awesome phono pre, but a year ago it succumbed to a fail with one noisy channel. I’d fix it but my job evaporated and now I am moving overseas so I need to move this device to a new home. I have the power supply (needs new cables - they’re dry rotting) and the original owners manual (photo copy dot matrix in a transparent yellow organiser). I don’t want to discard it and I’m not looking to make a fortune off it either.

Actually I might have the time to repair it - @jamesh could you send me the service manual / schematics??
