Hi - i have been in touch with them.
Check the usb cable you have to see if it has a 5v line on it. Apparently the DSD needs the 5v line for noise rejection and some USB’s dont have it.
If you are not sure just get a stock usb cable and try it out - this way you can isolate the issue to either the cable or something else.
