We also love cars

By virtue of it’s rarity, it is collectable. Especially in the Corvette world.
And, kept properly, if it’s not “valuable” today, it will surely be eventually.

With cars (or almost anything) of particular interest, the law of supply and demand rules.

Perhaps you are correct.

I just think it’s a neat car.

Me too. Just looked at a C6 Z06. Its neat too. And faster…!

If you own a recent Porsche, odds are that it’s a unicorn, since the permutation of customer-chosen options probably number in the millions.

Pretty sure my 991.2’s combo of Miami Blue, manual transmission (that probably eliminates 90% of the cars right there), slicktop, blue leather… is one of those unicorns. Just like all the rest!

My son had an '08 (I think) with the 427" engine. It was a hoot to drive.

I must ask. What options make it 1 of 1? You peaked my curiosity. My buddy has a 1 of 1 C8 Zeus Bronze. The option that makes it 1 of 1 is the neon yellow brake calipers.

I do not know which option(s) makes it 1:1. To start, it is yellow. I recall body colored vents are uncommen. Yellow calipers. Z07. 3LZ. Carbon fiber options, etc.

I know a few people who are obsessed with this sort of thing. I did not pay much attention.

I saw one at the dealer a C7 Z06 it was competition yellow with Red interior. It was cool but somehow Ronald McDonald kept entering my mind looking at it. Congrats on a great car! I think I’d lose my license or worse if I had a C7 Z06!

What’s nice for you is things like 1 of 1 drive the price up when it goes up for sale!

Somebody mention Toyota Celica? Bought my 1979 GT off the showroom floor as a 19 yr old in the Air Force stationed in California. Paid $7,564.00 brand new (sticker price…I was a dumb GI!). Allowed me to travel all over the state on days off. Wish I still had it!

This color combination required an override in GM’s system to order it.

Did you order it?

You are correct. The salesperson did tell me the original owner had to special order the red interior with yellow exterior.

It was a rare package called “The Ronald”.

No, bought it from a GM exec in Detroit.

A 1 of 1 Z06, it would be a mistake to minimize it’s value when the time comes.

Peehaps. It also has more than 30,000 mm iles on it. I drive my toys.

30k miles! That car is done for. Probably worth 10k. Let me know if you sell.
