Dinkin’ Guiness. Just got back from 10 wonderful days in Ireland. Yes, the Guiness is better there. Last night I met some friends in Baltimore at the new Guiness megaplex… barf… the beer was bitter and the service awful.
Irish radio is terrible. Just terrible. The shops and restaurants all have streaming 80s pop… like Howard Jones. Amazing how it was the same all over Ireland.
Eames Chair: My favorite piece of art. Unfortunately, I don’t fit in it… I have been eyeing them up for a long time. The copyrights (?) are all up so you can by knock offs that claim to be exact replicas but again, I don’t fit. Then a few months ago, I was on the Herman Miller website and they now have a “large” Eames Chair!!! Oh boy… we will see.
