I live in SoCal and the grilling season aka cooler weather is just beginning. I’ve cooked over open fire many times but this kit is next level.
Piñon to start then well seasoned live oak. Fire was smokeless within ~15 mins. and remained that way throughout cooking and beyond as I added more wood for after dinner drinks. 304 stainless seer plate, grill, kettle hook and legs, and the pit itself is double layer COR-TEN architectural steel for a nice contrast. Made in Kinzers, PA, USA.
