What are used BHK preamps going for?

It’s very very nice, but what were they thinking with the font used in the control panel?

New it’s a bit spendy. But I am patient.

What quirks bother you? Just curious.

I’m curious as well. I’m thinking of going integrated, however , my BHK Pre has been fantastic and quirk free.

Same here. I have owned two of them and they have both been rock solid except for vacuum tube issues which are the product of owning a vacuum tube source but not the design of the unit itself.

I haven’t had any quirks/problems either - but I only have one source - the DS - so the only ‘function’ I’ve really used in the BHK is volume. Well, I did adjust the trigger time for my monoblocks, but that’s just because the stock trigger timer is weirdly long. But I’ve had no problem with triggering either.

Mine too. The BHK Pre has been fantastic from day one. Zero issues.

Here’s one that if it was $6800 to $7000 would be hard to resist:

I’m really leaning Luxman Integrated. Luxman is getting out of the Class A game as they update their models. The 595asii looks like a real winner as well as the expensive 595ase

I see in the ad that pup weighs 110 lbs. Yeowzer!

I think you mean 590axii (no such thing as 595asii), but they may be hard to find at this point.

I don’t think they do anything halfway. I assume a good bit of the weight is for heat dissipation.
