What are you listening to now (BACCH Edition)

Also, any suggestions how to do the install smoothly or should we wait?

Thanks!

No ethernet capability. Must tranfert image and Bin files to root directory of FAT32 USB stick then switch off power on DAc plug in USB repower. The firmware ugrades then after it comes up upload Antero 208. i had one hiccup no sound output. But after a factory reset from end of system submenu. All was instantly great.

Thank you!

Vmax,

We finally got them to install, what a pain in the butt.

Sounds real good, nice sonic improvement.

One of our favorite things about DirectStream DAC’s are the periodic updates!

Thanks,

Yes it is a pain and also factory reset. I kept all the same just USB ground lift. Also set the I2S to autopower and-idtched shorting plugs.

Here is the submenu structure to improve navigation.

Did anybody hear all of our playlist “Best Played with Theoretica BACCH” at AXPONA?

Edgar just email me and said it came in handy at the show.

Pretty cool, good job by one and all!

Funny I was playing it when my daughter visited. She said Dad I didn’t think you listen to this kind of music?

So I blamed Al as an influence.

It’s so fun!

Here’s one that’s pretty Fly until swatted. Edgar played for me.

It is a great album, especially the second track, Trippin’ With the Birds.

Nice Beach Boy Cover with sound effects mate well with Bacch.

Nice club ambiance and deep soundstage and good vocals. Enveloped.

Further research she Joan Wasser was Jeff Buckley’s GF of 3 years when he drown in Memphis. She started a band with his bandmates before becoming Policewoman.

I’ve Lived On A Dirt Road All My Life… is that on Qobuz? Can’t find it.

I will check when I get home.

Up in Flames appears to be only available on Tidal.

FYI.

Thanks Scott!

The only reason I have Tidal is when I want to hear a track, I want to hear it.

This is fairly odd Al, but it’s on brand.

I saw this band live at First Avenue. The entire main floor turned into a mosh pit. It seemed nice.
