I heard that there is actually a playlist that is called “Glenn Gould Not Playing Bach”…got a good chuckle from that…
This is one part, of a two part CBC documentary on Glenn from 1959…quite an interesting “up close and personal” view of the pianist as a young man.

I was working in a recording studio on 51st St in Manhattan the day he was shot. I’ll never, ever forgot the utter shock and pervasive sadness in the studio in the weeks following that tragedy…to think that he would be 80 years old this year is quite unreal…
