I guess that provides a fairly reasonable argument to Wire Deniers - “I’m upgrading my transformer”. Not that they’ll be able to get their head around the effect diminishing with distance. They’ll just argue that means the manufacturer is ripping you off unless they provide custom AC wiring all the way to the transformer on the telephone pole down the block. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

What speaker would you partner with it? Maybe Devore Orangutan 0/93?

Any ZU Audio or DeVore or Klipsch or even KEF LS50 as mentioned in the video.
And don’t let anybody tell you that high efficiency speakers can’t reproduce bass. And this amp produces very believable, satisfying. bass.
I’m using it with Zu Soul Supremes which are claimed 101db.

You got my attention. Zu Soul Supremes may be worth investigating as are the Devore Orangutans. Last time I heard a Klipsch It left me wanting, too shouty in the midrange/presence region.
