What are you spinning now? Mark 6

La Peste is French for The Plague. Also the title of a novel by Albert Camus which was required reading if one aspired to be an intellectual in the 50’s.

Just back from walking the dog. Well my highly educated friend, I have never heard of Albert Cumus, but thanks to you I do know now that’s for sure. But please tell what happened to the fish… :joy: :joy: I have heard of Albert Steptoe, and Albert Pierrepoint, did he hang the fish or were they pois(s)oned in the plague.  Not posting much today driving over to my Edinburgh HiFi Dealer. I require another new cartridge, stylus worn out…!

Shame on you! I was struggling a bit to follow the fish reference, but finally realised you were morphing the trio name to barracuda. Sorry about that; bit slow in the morning :frowning:

Hi, Chris. (In Edinburgh, just checked my phone.) Yes, you got there. :slightly_smiling_face: I will admit it was a tad nebulous - but you are usually right on the button. I knew the music was about the plague, I just didn’t like to say after you had pointed it out to me…!

From memory - we didn’t read that book in high school, but, I will rummage through the book shops in St. Andrews to find said book.
