“Sonny Rollins Vol.2” 24 bit by RVG Blue Note Japan cd.

Not one of the best sounding discs in the series, but phenomenal music, especially the tracks with Monk.

NAS. CD. This album. initially recommended by @andolink (we don’t see much of him nowadays unfortunately), was at the time not available on Qobuz, so I bought and ripped the CDs. With the problems playing HiRes on the main system’s Arcam I listened to it again. No hardship. It is an album of delightful music well played by Letzbor and his gang, and with excellent sound quality and soundstage. Definitely a favourite, although NAS albums are not marked as such.

”The sound on this 1988 release has been completely remixed from the original multi-track tapes by longtime Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson with Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, assisted by Damon Iddins. The new 2CD and 3LP vinyl sets feature this remixed audio and offer more tracks than before: the vinyl triple-disc package offers nine more tracks than the original, while the new double-CD package features eight songs not on the 1988 2CD set.
These new editions of Delicate Sound of Thunder will be released on 20 November 2020.”

Cool, how is the AYE SACD? Thanks.

I second that. (I’ve bought a few SACD’s & CDs that andolink recommended.) He is missed.!
