A lot of low-grade distractions in my life at the moment, and not enough music. Also my tablet seems to have lost the ability to type actual words into the PS Audio forum, just images (I’m on the PC atm).

Meanwhile got a couple of very quiet fans on the back of the hifi now, not on the amps (which run very cool for class AB) but instead on the DSP/DAC boxes, which do get a bit warm for my liking.
Also been distracted by the news of course, which seems to have a grim fascination for me (non-partisan comment, admin, whatever views one has at the moment, it’s pretty crazy out there!).
…and why am I telling you all this? Because you need to know

Qobuz, CD. Harpsichord tone attractive but not exceptional. Compositions attractive but not exceptional. Performance … you get the idea! This is not negative; it was a pleasant album.
I saw that too. More research lead me to the same board with complete case. The player arrived today so I’ll set it up tonight &…just wait for my bluray concert to arrive from the UK. 
Nothing highlights a high end audio room like a couple cheap chinese addons & switchers…
