@andolink: That is terribly sad news. I did wonder if there was something wrong because you were a regular contributor then suddenly you stopped posting and now I know why. I don’t know what to say that doesn’t sound obvious and trite other than to wish you all the very best.

New on Qobuz. HR. I have some reservations about Tartini, who I feel composed for the performer rather than the audience, but the first track here, even with some very spirited cello bowing, seemed to belie this, Then I discovered it was by Vandini (new to me). The Tartini pieces seemed more typical. However, this is quibbling. The sound on this album was excellent, and you could just wallow in it without worrying too much about the fine details of the music. Heresy, I know.
So sorry for your hearing loss. Hopefully science can find some sort of workaround for you. It’s nice that you are still hanging around here.
Had not heard of them but liked the sci fi look to that so am playing the Vol 1 to get a taste. So far so good. Thanks for posting, it’s why I love this thread.
