I sometimes find albums on the BIS label cold sounding or with too much dynamic range but this is great. Yes, I believe there is such a thing as too much dynamic range.

Another good, used CD from my local bookshop… I have trained the girl, she only puts CDs behind the counter for my perusal if the playing surface is pristine.!
