I’ve a cold that is taking its time getting better and yet luckily hasn’t reached my ears. 
I’m chilling with the third disc of the “Complete Bill Evans on Verve,” trio recordings and then a few with Stan Getz.
The system sounds fabulous of late. I never heard these Verve discs sound this good before. Wow. Bill was such a talent. He left behind a huge inventory of recordings. . . but I still think he was taken from us far too soon and we should have had more.

Qobuz. CD. I like the ‘house sound’ of the Freinurger Barockorchester, so this looked like a comfortable choice for morning listening. Such proved to be the case. Pleasant listening and not too taxing. Concluded with a Muffat Passacaglia which is almost a chaconne 
Really fun and nostalgic album to get in the spirit.
Technically, was playing this yesterday so not “spinning right now”.
