What are you spinning now? (Mk 3)

I need to hang out in @Dirk 's listening room because he has ALL the good music to listen to.

Thank you. And you’d be welcomed.

Qobuz. CD. This could be the start of a long haul, since it is the first of a 50 volume set, and this album alone has nearly 200 tracks. We are starting with Albinoni played by the Zero Emissions Baroque Orchestra. I have researched them slightly and am happy to report that their playing is not nearly as turgid as their ecological ambitions. Quite light and lively, in fact, and the sound is good.

Regarding EC’s Unplugged (CD I presume) is a surprisingly great live recording. Really gave the old Windom FW a workout.

No, playing it on vinyl. I just lifted “Deluxe + DVD” from the net to save my time… The CD does sound ‘very good’ through the DMP & DS/Windom but the LP sounds better…! It’s an original copy I bought when the album was first released.

Stan Getz “Getz au Go Go” Verve Essentials cd.

Lovely stuff. This disc is for me what I imagine a highball is to many.
