DVD (I have the audio plus a little 4 inch screen for navigating the menu) of Joni Mitchel Live at Wembley Arena 1983 - another BBC recording I had on Video2000 tape back then.
Great that all these BBC recordings I recall as being so good are available one way or another (this was a DVD online from an amateur place for a fiver).

I had multiple machines for all the formats back in the 80’s, and Video2000 was my favourite, closely followed by the technically similar Video8,

It was a much better format wasn’t it, great Phillips machines too!
I’m told V2000 lost out because VHS had much more porn available…

Qobuz. CD. A little opera about a musical scale, but without singing. It sounded intriguing. It was less complex than many other works by Marais, but still very enjoyable. London Baroque always play well. The recording was made in 1982, and seems to have been released several times with different cover art, which seems to have fooled me because I have previously posted another of them.
