A selection of half familiar pieces competently played by an ensemble I had not heard (or heard of) before. Definitely OK.
I just purchased this cd last week
The Delines are a country-soul band from Portland, Oregon, but you wouldn’t know it from their tour schedule, which is weighted heavily toward Europe. This 2015 EP is not on TIDAL or Spotify. I am listening on Bandcamp and trying to decide whether to buy the FLAC download and/or the gold vinyl LP on the Delines’ website. (There was a limited edition CD version of this EP, as well, but it is sold out and sells for crazy money on the secondary market.)
Recently discussed on NPR and seems like No. 4 is pretty challenge to perform; I like Abbado’s interpretation (I have his No. 9 DG CD);
Listened to this twice this morning. This is a fantastic cd, what a band. Getz, Cowell, Vitous, DeJohnette.
