Saw the tour as well. Incredible.
I realize Karajan’s final recorded Beethoven cycle was met with lackluster reviews but I’m enjoying my first listen.
Thanks, @andolink, this is not an album which would have appeared in any of my normal searches, but I am enjoying it.
Must take time to say that Leon Russell is a huge legend, a giant legend among musicians, producers. Thank you for posting.

Looking forward to David Bromberg’s concert tonight at The Double E! Performance Center in Essex Junction, Vermont. This is a high-tech movie theater that started hosting concerts recently. I have yet to see a concert there, so I am not sure what to expect. The high-back seats look comfortable, but are they bad for concert sonics? Or will they help to minimize rear-wall reflections? Should be interesting. . . .
A very pleasant double album. Light and easy to listen to.
‘light’ was the Couperin. I have just got to Rebel and he is more dramatic!
I saw him back when he looked like the photo on the album. A good concert. Though I imagine that he’s got a few more grey hairs now.
