Bootzilka: Towns Van Sandt, the old quarter is a great album. Good choice.

Bootzilla, I have to agree with Elk. The confederate flag means nothing to me, but airbrushing history is a Soviet-move that we should be spared. Should we edit Sweet Home Alabama? Some of the greatest music makes some statement which is offensive to someone. That’s the point of a lot of it.

Lonson, out to lunch is one of my favorite jazz albums that I do not see a lot of on this board. It’s a masterpiece.

Beethoven’s C major String Quintet, Op. 29. Composed in 1801 between the first two Symphonies. This is the April 1945 recording with Milton Katims joining as the second viola. From the Sony/Masterworks Heritage CD Series.

Described in one review as Punk Acid Jazz, King Krule’s The Ooz is my favorite album that I bought in a long time.

It’s Louis’ birthday so I’m playing disc 3 of this cool 3 cd set.

A three disc set of recordings from a Shrine Auditorium concert celebrating the 70th Birthday of THE MAN.
