What to do with a Sony MDS-J470 mini disc/recorder-player?

I have a Sony mini-disc player/recorder. What are audiophiles doing with this defunct piece of equipment (aside from selling it)?

I have the 940 and use it as the first step in transferring LPs and old cassettes to CDs. Once in a very great while I’ll use it to play one if the few prerecorded discs I have.

Throw it away, by which I mean ethically recycle. Or send it to Hollywood for the next Jurassic whatever move. It’s a relic.
