Well I said I’d wait until December around my Birthday but I just couldn’t pass up this offer to buy both the DSSr. & a PerfectWave Disc Spinner at 1/3 what it cost originally. And he including an AC-3 & AC-10 PS Audio AC Cords.
So glad to have the DAC back in my rig/life. The Disc Spinner on the other has issues as does the DAC not related to it’s physical condition (near mint - both).
The sound of the PS Audio PerfectWave Disc Spinner is no different than my trusty Sony UBP-X1000ES with the integrated HDMI Video ----> !2S HDMI Chinese adapters. Both I2S inputs of the DAC were used in this comparison. So what gives ? I got the disc spinner as a package deal when I bought the DAC.
The Bridge just sucks…I knew this and that’s why I never ordered one when I bought mine new almost 3 years ago. With a 2 week trial and soon purchase of Audirvanna Origin. I saw that the bridge would playback files accessed from my Apple Mac Mini (M1 Proc.) in PCM 176.4. Not bad if that’s all it will do with a DSD64 file. My Sony UBP-10000ES was capable of playing back true DSD files and Audirvanna Origin recognized the Sony Player in the bottom right corner of the Webpage.
But it looks cool sitting atop the DSSr. DAC !
