Recently, I purchase custom made RCA 2 feet’s cable from Clairemont Audio Cable on EBay, great sound, but now, I switch to XLR and instead of guessing, I kindly asking for Help?
I need to replace my 6 feet’s Audioquest, by some XLR, any recommandation?
In the past, I went Audioquest, because Paul say they were good, but not so many clone? like the Cardas, I don’t purchase them anymore, often counterfeit cable, a lot of that in the used market!
so what are your recommandation? for best result with AudioQuest
I’ve been using a full loom of VooDoo Cable Stradivarius Cremona and Amati XLR and RCA interconnects in my main system for ten years. These are very revealing but musical imo. In all this time they have never been the weakest link. I’m glad I bought them in the narrow window when I could afford them–I could not now..
A more affordable cabling I would recommend is Granite Audio silver. I have a pair in another of my systems and they are excellent–made with OCC sliver (my VooDoo Cable have both separate OCC copper and silver conductors cryo’d). The Granite Audio are very clear and musical, not at all harsh or etched.
This will probably be a shock to everyone but, Iconoclast IC’s are the best kept secret and value in audio! No risk to audition in your home and system.
