Would going from USB to Is2 into Stellar DAC/Preamp be any better?

Currently I have a Transport i5 and MICRORENDU from smallgreencomputer feeding my Stellar Gain Cell DAC/Preamp with USB. I run my Roon and Tidal on these devices. Now smallgreencomputer has a new device ULTRADIGITAL - USB TO SPDIF AND LVDS I2S CONVERTER that would take the music from the MicroRendu via USB and then convert it to I2S into my Stellar Gain Cell. But I was thinking that the USB would already be the defining point. So before I plunk my money down, would I gain any sound quality going from USB to I2S?

Thanks
Scott

The answer to your question is an unequivocal YES!

I have been using it for a while now to my Stellar Preamp. Sonore UltraRendu and UltraDigital via I2S to PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell Preamp. Sonore even changed the description to include PS Audio. So now the title on their site is " PS AUDIO I2S BUNDLE - ULTRARENDU, ULTRADIGITAL".
