Al, if I lived anywhere near you it’d be a pleasure to come visit! But it’s a looooong drive from Florida.
Stealth Audio is located about 4 miles from me. I should drop by and see if they would provide a loaner…
It says “superior” right on the thing, so it must be…superior.
As long as it doesn’t say “Acme”. I would confuse it with a grocery store.
Or it could explode when it gets plugged in… by a coyote!
CR-1 arrived FedEx today.
Apparently JL Audio makes dopamine…
Who knew?
Think I’m gonna pull the trigger this week, and the stupid expensive umbilical. Good thing happening financially tomorrow….you can’t take it with you.
I look forward to hearing your impressions of it once installed and settled in, Grandpa. BTW, congrats on the twin grandchildren.
How are you going to use it? Umbilical to what?
And Grandkids??? Congrats!!! Sorry I missed that announcement. How wonderful, Dale!
Thanks all, bursting (healthy twin boys). The Typhoon will power my pass amps, umbilical to my existing Denali which will power all but my rel subs.
I am getting two SR Atmosphere X Series Euphoria power cables. To feed both P15 power plant and Meridian power amp.
Can you get them to throw in anew Master fuse to trial with it? Then you can fill us in wheter it beats the Audio Magi M-1.
Shunyata’s grounding system looks like I should have one. What do you think?

Ordered this morning…
If it’s a keeper, then I will move forward with the Jeff Richards power supply modification of my DS DAC MK I and pull the Bridge II Ethernet Card.
Should be fun fiddling around with this…
Do you mean this one Ron? Looks interesting…I’ve been eyeing it up…I already have made ground connections to my components via the chassis to my Everest and it does make for a substantial difference in the quietness of my system!
I’ve only heard third-hand from two people who’ve demoed them in their systems and they both bought them. I’m meeting up with one of them at the Florida Audio Show and I’m eager to hear what he says.
And I’m hoping Shunyata will be there demoing it.
Not sure about the Shunyata per se, but personal experience is that good grounding removed a level of noise I didn’t even know I had.
You only live once!
Is it recommended to have both? One for chassis grounding and one for signal grounding?
Best,
-JP
Ron, you gonna be at the Florida show? That’s great! I’ll be there too. Coming down all the way from NJ, wow!
I’ve been sniffing around the CAD
If you hit the lottery you could go all in on Tri Point
