My problems with the first three machines were related to the liquid cleaner they provided me. The cleaner was a bad batch that over foamed and caused the machine to fault and quit. AudioDesq didn’t realize they had a faulty batch of cleaners until they saw three machines come back from me. I was the canary in the coal mine and it took them a while to realize the problem wasn’t the machine but the crappy faulty batch of cleaner.

I have probably cleaned over 800 albums with my current machine. Jason and the folks at the Cable Company always backed the machine with quick replacements. I feel much better about the operation.

Thank you. Will do. Rubber Yoga blocks sufficient?

As long as they can support the weight. Non-water absorbing is better too, so sounds like a good choice.

I find a local source with pallets to spare. cheap and throw away and support a ton of weight. Tall enough to stop most floods…you getting more water than 4 inches and you other other worries than your crates.

Next upgrade: washing machine. Just great.

I had that unexpected upgrade this fall. Quite a joy. Went with a GE commercial machine.

We just got a new Speed Queen washer and dryer. Must be that time of the year.

Great stuff, Speed Queen. Practically indestructible.

Yes they really are commercial quality machines. The standard warranty is 7 years parts and labor with a 25 year expected normal useful life.
They are certainly the last laundry machines we will ever need.

The dive shafts in those speed queens looks like it came out of a truck transmission.

Bought the washer about a year ago. Hasn’t missed a beat.Seems like it will go the long haul for sure!

There’s a cool hack to have the water continue filling up the washer drum with the lid up like the old days…Google it if interested!

Will do and thanks.

Now if I could figure out how to kill the beeping alarm on the new Frigidaire refrigerator my dog would feel much better.

I was thinking about a Frigidaire until I learned that if it loses power it requires a manual action to turn it back on once power is restored. Seems like a bad design option to me.

I don’t like thinking about this about you. Stop it.

Not really an upgrade….

I took my DMP to the office so I can play with my extra, unmodified DS Sr. until I decide if I want to sell it.

So I pulled this dinosaur out of storage so I can spin the occasional disc in the Big Rig:

Sounds pretty good for a 20+ year old relic. I can live with it for a while since I tend to stream from my library most of the time.
