I have three power cords with NCF plugs, and the latest is the pigtail for FB. In my system the last 10% of the deep bass and dark background seemed to take two to three hundred hours more to reach. After my vacation, a few weeks ago, the SQ continued to improve and I contributed it, mostly, to the pigtail break in like my other cords.
The Furutech NCF wall plate/socket took a lot less, but I had new fuses, cable, and others going on at the time too so I was not sure.
But it does not surprise me that in a different system they may break in sooner, or longer.

I donât have to send my M1200 back!!!
Had an issue with the blue light by the tube area staying on (and the tube itself). Turning the M1200 off and unplugging it for a while didnât resolve it. But removing and resetting the tube did resolve it. The M1200 now clicks on and off normally!!!
I had this gut feeling it just needed a âresetâ, if that is the proper term. As a bonus, I made an ever so slight change to speaker toe-in and now the system has even more âmagicâ.
That may be my next move once new room is built. Love to hear your impressions and comparisons to any other streamers. Really looking forward to Dirac coming to that platform.
The only other streamer I can meaningfully compare it to is the Altair G1.1 I have in my other system. I have used the G1.1 in my main system and the G2.2 definitely performs on a higher level. But, itâs still breaking in so the final differential is yet to be heard. Compared to the digital reproduction of the Luxman d-08u disc spinner, most aspects of reproduction are very similar. The areas in which the Luxman does noticeably better are matters of soundstage depth and channel separation. Considering the Luxman costs three times the Altair it is rather sobering to consider how steep the costs of increased performance are.
I got mine before the AirLens and it is connected to the MK II with AQ Coffee USB. Still use it for AirPlay and as a server. The AirLens is primary and I use I2S.
This is a great combo and the certainly sounds better than the Auralic Steamer DACs. The Mrk2 is very good but once you get this streamer feeding it you just realize how good.
Just upgrade to the Syn Galileo USB and this was another step fwd for this combo
Acoustic addition through subtraction of two double sets of drywall that formed a closet. Before and after comparison. The room is now acoustically symmetrical. Prior to the removal the extra walls pulled the center audio stage to the left. However after removing the closet walls the woman in the house sees the opportunity to remove an additional separating wall behind the couch for better room flow. She is also agreeable to reposition closet functionality to the perimeter of the room.
You could also level the floor where was the closet, it should bring a sort of 2 areas, before and after the step, keeping best symmetry on right/left axis of the entire room.
