I’ve cruised through a decent collection of tubes in the VTL. The G 73-R sound the best to me. I honestly didn’t think they’d matter that much, but they did. Stupid hobby proves me wrong time and time again.

Something very exciting is coming! I heard Network Acoustics is about to release a new reference Ethernet cable and filter. The new cable is outperforming by far everything they did so far (obviously even toping the Stealth cable). And so is the filter which is a major next level development. Both pricey but I am sure they are worth it. Haha - seems gone are my plans to save money for the next holidays :))

Haha ya - they got this Ethernet filtering going and it’s amazing to see how they evolve further with every next generation.
I may have mentioned it up above, Ron. My AD was one of the first ones off the production line. Since then VPI has made a number of improvements to the motor controller and stuff. My old noise floor, for example, which measured something in the -80dB range now measure at -100dB. Similar improvements to W&F (which were already great). Will I hear any of that? I have no idea. Harry did a check out playing his favorite music and gave it the HW stamp of approval at the improvements having gotten the job done. All the better measurements are great, but Harry’s check mark means more to me. 
Harry is a gem. I love his enthusiasm.

I upgraded my phone too this year only because Xfinity gave me $1k credit for my old one (iPhone 13 I think). So, I got the newest iPhone 16 pro for a few bucks per month. They must really need the business. A few things I noticed:
- The battery lasts longer than my old one
- The AI model was a joke since I cannot figure out why and how to use it
- The picture quality is like my audio fuses before M-2, what is the difference?
The camera, screen, and speed, of the new phone are like going from the dac of a Panasonic 4k blu-ray player to the MU2
