Your Next Upgrade? (Part 2)

I think around 235lbs.

What I did won’t scale. But I do have an idea.

After I put the Epplugs up for sale and a buyer contacted me immediately, I switched back and forth between the Epluggs and my tourmaline plugs. The Epplugs seem to amplify the highs a bit, so fine information comes through better. The tourmaline plugs do not emphasize the high frequency range. It seems to me that the timbres are more intense, especially with voices. The improvement is more in a natural midtone. Similar to the comparison SR vs Audi magic. Hifi vs music. The Epplugs sound like hi-fi with an emphasis on the top end and a ping pong effect. The tourmaline plugs sound musically organic if I can describe it correctly. For me, music sounds more natural and pleasant with rich tones with the tourmaline plugs. I’m interested to see what results Al has with his new Furutech connectors.

Very beautiful view. Unfiltered without cloudy slices.

Transparent doors are the best.

I have a similar view in a smaller version overlooking my slightly smaller koi pond.:face_with_hand_over_mouth: Al, your view is beautiful.

Maybe you can try one of each at different components to get the best results

Both you and Al have nice view! Koi pond is nice, but I cannot have one since raccoon is a problem already.

I do miss my beautiful reef tank from sometime ago, but I can only keep one expensive hobby going😆

You can’t see much of the pond in the photo. We have had the pond with the koi’s for many years. With the rising costs, I wouldn’t do it anymore. Food for around €100 a month is the least of it. Electricity around 500 watts per hour around the clock. Water costs and in severe frost a heater with 3 KW.:see_no_evil:

That brings back the memory of my 300gallen saltwater tank. I had 1100 watts lighting going 12 hours per day for life coral, 5 pumps going 24 hr/day, AC and Heater to maintain the temp., 50 gal saltwater replacement weekly, not to mention the cost of exotic fish, coral, and clams.

Man, I do not miss it at all now you mentioned it. Electricity in Bay Are is crazy and they will increase another 10% because of wildfire cost.

Simply wonderful, congrats, Al! Is it the front or the side wall, from your listening position?

Lovely view, Indeed! Where do the rabbits stay, if I may ask?

Your view is so similar to ours it is spooky. Elevated above the lake, glass across the front, the difference is deciduous versus conifer trees. We had all our front glass replaced after the last F1 tornado.

The rabbits used to roam free to do whatever they wished. But the two and a half hour car ride made them so upset they would require an expensive vet visit once home. So sadly, I cannot bring them with anymore. Sadness.

If not too much of a bother, it would be great to see some progress pictures posted from time to time as you assemble they system. Should be a fun way to pass the time indoors when the wind starts to howl and the snow starts to fly…

Again, congratulations.

Sorry to hear, but good to know you’re respecting their sensitivity.
Perhaps, one rabbit hole is enough for them, unlike us.
