You’ll be buying this tomorrow, I’m guessing?
Yikes. It’s like the Giya and the B&W Nautilus had a love child,
And just over a metric ton for the shipping weight!
i’m sure they sound nice but they don’t look nice
I wonder if they’ll be at AXPONA?
Dome tweeter…?
I’ll pass.
For some reason, I expect one of the drivers to blink
Looks like a tame H R Giger design … If I recall correctly I think Al has a soft spot for him!
Giger designed the creature in Alien as I recall.
Yes he did! He also designed the album cover of ELPs Brain Salad Surgery. Those are the two notable examples I recall, though I have seen some of his artwork (disturbing, yet cool at the same time).
That explains a lot about the looks
It looks like something from an H.G.Wells novel.
I visited the Giger museum in Gruyere. Some of the stuff is …
But did you have the cheese?
I’m picturing a cage match between these and the Estelon Extremes!
I will use them in my bathroom system.
The Estelon Extemes have it all over the new Vivids in the looks department. They are 700 pounds each as well.
I was guessing the new speakers would look like Swans instead of whatever you would describe what they actually do look like. Based on looks and size alone they are not for me. I’ll stick with my Ice Cream Cone Bowling Pins.
There is room at the top of the front face for the FR30 Tweeter and Midrange drivers.
I wonder which subwoofers and how many you would need with these?
Only $500,000. (Without cables)
They’d make a great rabbit high-rise condo . . .
The Forzas are no slouch, nor are the new Rockport Orions. BTW Jamie just shared this.
Those attending Axpona may be interested, he is about a 20 minute drive from the Renaissance Convention Center. I can say the demo at Audio Experience exceeds anything available at Axpona, as Jamie has things dialed it nicely.
