I have an older PWT that does not have wireless networking built in, just hardwired ethernet. Is there a way to use a USB wireless dongle or otherwise add wireless connectivity to these units?
A wireless bridge would work. Run ethernet from PWT to the bridge.

Another more expensive solution would be adding mesh routers to your home and have one mesh nodes wired to your DAC via cat7 or cat 8

That’s been my solution. Works great. Check for Mesh Force refurbished on ebay. Generation 3 3-pak for $55.
