AirLens orange light blinking constantly

Folks / support : I decided to check for new firmware updates on my AirLens. Once completed I am getting a blinking orange on status LED which seems to indicate that internet connection not available. However, my Roon devices can see the AirLens as audio output device.

I have tried a factory reset, loading bin file via USB but I get immediate blinking orange no matter what I try.

Next idea is to try wi-fi BUT ethernet connect is my greatly preferred method.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Dave

Folks: I cannot even connect to wi-fi. Blinking orange status LED occurs 3 seconds after powering up.

I had the same problem, a factory reset of the AirLens and my router did the trick.

Just got it back up and running! Not sure what I did but I’ve been at it for over an hour. Panic!!!

I have done a factory reset but now afraid to check for firmware updates.

THanks, Dave

I’ve had the same problem - even getting the AirLens to initiate the factory reset process involves a bit of trial and error.

In my case, with Ethernet connected, the unit will typically go straight to blinking orange despite holding the WPS button at startup. When this happens, I’ve found that disconnecting the Ethernet cable and following the factory restart steps usually is effective (sometimes another restart with the Ethernet cable connected while following the reset process does the trick).

I’ve contacted PS Audio Support about this. I’ve been told that they have a software update in the works that will correct the issue.

@Dignan2000 : Thanks for info. I will give this a try. I was toying with exchanging for a new one.

Thanks again, Dave
