An i2s compatibility question re. S.M.S.L. DO200 MKII balanced DAC

I’m interested in possibly pairing the S.M.S.L. DO200 MKII with my DMP but this would be a “no go” if there was i2s incompatibility between the two devices

Does anybody here have experience or info. about this issue?
