I spent way too much this year but put the finishing touches on my main system and brought a lot of great music into the home.
@lphuntress:
If you are interested this is what I have, some are not immediately available as they are likely at our summer home Up North.
Off the top of my head:
(1) Harry James Cominā From A Good Place (Also have a a Box) LAB 6
(2) Harry James The King James Version (Also Have as a Box)
(3) The Moscow Sessions 1/2/3 TLP-25/26/27
(4) Stravinsky/Debussy Leinsdorf LAB 24
(5) Mozart/Greig Chicago Symphony Winds LAB 22
(6) The Sheffield Track Record LAB 20
(7) Shubert LAB 19
(8) Michael Newman LAB 10
(9) Prokfiev Leinsdorf LAB 8
(10) Wagner Leinsdorf LAB 11
(11) Dave Grusin Discovered Again! LAB 5
Unfortunately those got by me, none being in my collection. The Okay Temiz certainly would be a fine addition to any collection.
I have the ones I want from the list you sent. Iāll tell Terry to look at them to see if there are any he wants from your list!
TMcqueen - Do you want me to get any of these?? We have the Harry James, the Sheffield Track Record, The Shubert Lab 19, the Dave Gruisin, and I think we have the Michael Newman and the Stravinsky/Debussy.
ā¦the main system has been temporarily replaced by the excessive and consequently retired desktop setup and the only thing that has grown is my indecision about what to do next.
Of course that indecision is fueled by an irrational tension between FOMO and an emergent recognition of my many limitations, including reluctance to burn more cash in pursuit of a great unknown.
In a first world sense though, I am profoundly grateful that my life is such that this trivial concern can be foremost in my mind.
I did too, but the results are so worth it. Iām a tube guy, and now have a solid state amp that runs in Class A, thanks to this forum
After a number of major upgrades including FR30, MU2, and PZ within this year, I have never had better SQ in our room.
But why do I still have a list of upgrades to do? Thanks to this forum too.
