Well, crap. I just bought my one-day pass and was thinking Saturday, but I suppose I could drive up Thursday night and make Friday my day. That would definitely make my mom happy (I’m staying with her in Oak Lawn.) I could also just get a second day ticket…

Andrew must have ants in his pants. At last year’s FLAX he and some other guy were partnered up, debuting some high six figure monstrosity of a speaker, which he subsequently showed at last year’s AXPONA. I guess he didn’t care for it.

I need some advice. I am packing for Axpona, and considering the event I am wondering if six Kimonos is enough for the four nights. I have five favorites packed, but I am thinking of packing a sixth in the unlikely event that one of you might wear the same one.

My mom has kept some beautiful dresses from her Chinese Opera days, but I don’t think they will fit you. She has won a silver medal in a world Chinese Opera competition in China like 40 years ago. I was not too crazy about the music style so I did not go. To this day I have never visited China either.
She has hundreds of tapes from her (and my dad) old performances, but I have not watched one so far.
That picture was taken outside the Forbidden City in Beijing China in 2001. I am glad I visited China.
