At least we have Avs and Nuggets…
But yeah, a day at the park can be fun regardless

ha, when I lived there the Avalanch tried to give away Nuggets tix when you bought one of theirs, people literally complained about getting the free tix! They were baaaaaaaaad
Lived in Denver 1988 through 1991. Great sports town! I remember the electric buzz throughout the city when they were awarded the expansion team, the Rockies.
And yes, I adopted Elway and the Three Amigos as my “second” NFL team! Though the allegiance has long faded, I do root for them every time they play the Chiefs!!
I remember. I had my car broken into at a Nuggets game and the thieves left me AVs tickets! They have since improved.
Rockies were fun back in Helton days. Arenado was great but ownership is terrible.
other way around for me - Avs were winning the Stanley Cup, the Nuggets were worse than a high-school team
8 homers for the Cubs at Wrigley this afternoon (against the Cardinals )!
That is a new club record.
Fly the “W” and sing the song.
The Boys of Summer are juiced up!! You sure Sosa and McGwire weren’t seen in the dugout?
Sosa did make a visit to Wrigley a couple weeks ago
Passing out Flintstones vitamins…?
…or whatever the preferred transport vehicle is these days! My late father-in-law (a ravenous baseball fan) always felt MLB made a deal with the players. Put away the stuff of scandals and we’ll juice up the ball for you! When squared up that thing will fly these days. Wish I could still get out there & play!
Was the wind blowing out?
Not really…kind of a muggy, calm day…
Just one of those things…
Go Tigers!
Go Tigers? Shouldn’t someone called EaglesMan say go Phillies?
Growing up as a kid in Ann Arbor, I’m full time Tigers fan, but you are right… My NL team has always been the Phillies going back to the Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Greg Luzinski and Larry Bowa days.
Tigers with the best record in baseball right now at the All-Star break. Savor the moment!
Denny McLain, Willie Horton, Al Kaline, Mickey Lolitch and Norm Cash would be proud!
Agreed… Same to be said for Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammell, Lou Whitiker, Jack Morris, Lance Parrish and Larry Herndon being proud. Hopefully it will not be just a “moment” with AJ Hinch and Scott Harris in charge.
And Don Wert, Mickey Stanley, Bill Freehan, Ray Oyler, Dick McAuliffe (just to complete the Lineup).
And I’ll throw in Jim Northrup…and The Gator.
Go get ‘em Tigers!
